1. Who we are

PlugPe is an EV charging point marketplace app operated by Chandrakant Kumar, Chintamanpur Water Tank, Ward No. 02, Post Office Sarmastpur, Block Paroo, District Muzaffarpur, Bihar, PIN 843107. Contact: contact@plugpe.tech, +91 62992 72884.

2. Data we collect

• Phone number: when you sign in with phone OTP, Firebase Authentication stores your phone number to verify your identity.
• Listing information: if you list a charging point, we store the details you submit (name, phone number you provide, location down to panchayat level, hourly rate, parking description, and an optional photo reference) in Cloud Firestore. Your exact address fields (pincode, landmark, parking details) are kept private and are never shown publicly.
• Public listing projection: a limited public copy of your listing (name, general location, hourly rate, availability, approval status, and your phone number only if you explicitly consent) is shown to people browsing charging points.
• Booking requests: when you request charging, we store the requested date, time, duration, and your message so the host can respond.
• Reports: when you report a listing, we store the reason and details for review.
• Favourites: your saved favourites are stored only on your device and are never uploaded.
• Diagnostics: Firebase services may collect anonymised crash and performance diagnostics.

3. How we use your data

We use your data to operate the marketplace: showing approved listings, letting hosts manage their listings, processing booking requests, moderating reported content, and keeping the service secure.

4. Phone number visibility

Your phone number is shown publicly only if you tick the explicit consent checkbox when creating or editing a listing. You can withdraw consent at any time by editing the listing and unticking the box.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Data is processed by Firebase (Google) services under their terms to run this app. Payments made in the app (such as the listing fee) are processed by Razorpay; your card or UPI details are handled by Razorpay and are never stored by PlugPe.

6. Data retention

Listing and booking data is kept while your listing or request is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for safety and dispute handling. If you close your account or ask us to delete your data, we delete or anonymise it within 90 days, except payment and transaction records, which we keep for up to 3 years for legal, accounting, and dispute purposes.

7. Your rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by writing to contact@plugpe.tech.

8. Children

PlugPe is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact contact@plugpe.tech and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We will update this policy when our data practices change and show the new effective date here.
